We are the members of the West Highland White Terrier Club of Greater Denver. The Greater Denver spans to where ever our members reside. Our activities and meetings are usually within 100 miles of the heart of the city. We are a breed club and our breed is WESTIES. We are affiliated with the American Kennel Club and as such are bound by a charter through the parent organization as well as the West Highland White Terrier Club Of America (www.westieclubamerica.com). This sites purpose it to provide a communication link between members and with the public. We have not attempted to include many things that are so well covered by the above web sites as well as many others. Google Westie rescue and get almost 57,000 hits. HERE, you will find our news letter which is published about 6 times a year, officer information, events in our future, some pictures of both Champions and pets. We are a local resource for the Rocky Mountain Region. We are passionate about our love affair with Westies and hope you will feel the same.
Our membership is represented by those who breed and or show Champion Westies and those who are pet and rescue owners, foster care providers,and a few who just like being around a these feisty little dogs. Generally a person either likes the terrier personality or they pick another breed. We love terriers and we love our Westies.

The support of regional owners, and breeders of the West Highland White Terrier. We are dedicated to helping breed and maintain Westies that are healthy and happy. We work to fulfill our obligation though our members active participation in our programs and events designed with this mission in mind.
